Candace Parker Marries Anna Petrakova, Expecting Baby Boy

Chicago Sky star Candace Parker has announced her marriage to Russian basketball player Anna Petrakova and the expecting of their first child together.

Parker made the announcement on Instagram on Tuesday, sharing a photo of herself and Petrakova with the caption, "I'm so excited to share that I'm married to the love of my life, Anna Petrakova, and that we're expecting a baby boy!"

The couple met in 2012 while playing for the Russian national team. They have been together since, and Parker proposed to Petrakova in 2019.

Parker is a two-time WNBA MVP and has led the Chicago Sky to their first-ever WNBA championship this year. She is also a two-time Olympic gold medalist with Team USA.

Petrakova is a professional basketball player who has played for several teams in Russia and Europe. She is a member of the Russian national team.

The couple welcomed their son, Airr Larry Petrakov Parker, on February 11, 2022.

Parker also has a 14-year-old daughter, Lailaa, from her previous relationship with former NBA player Shelden Williams.
