A24 DROPS the First Trailer for MEN
A new trailer and release date has been unveiled for A24s MEN.
A24 has released the first trailer and poster for MEN, the new film from director Alex Garland (EX MACHINA, ANNIHILATION). Starring Jessie Buckley and Rory Kinnear, watch as a young woman goes on a solo retreat in the English countryside, only to find herself being stalked by a mysterious force. MEN opens in theaters May 20, 2022.
The trailer opens with Harper (Buckley) arriving at a beautiful country home for a solo retreat. She is immediately struck by the beauty of the surroundings, but she soon begins to feel uneasy. She starts to see strange things out of the corner of her eye, and she hears strange noises at night. Harper begins to suspect that she is being watched, and she becomes increasingly paranoid. As the trailer progresses, Harper's fear grows, and she begins to unravel. She becomes convinced that she is being stalked by a mysterious force, and she begins to see visions of a strange man (Kinnear). The trailer builds to a chilling climax, as Harper is confronted by the mysterious man. She screams in terror, and the trailer ends with a close-up of her face, her eyes wide with fear.
MEN is a psychological thriller that explores the themes of trauma, gaslighting, and female empowerment and could be considered a companion piece to Garland's previous film EX MACHINA. The film is sure to be a話題 when it is released later this year.
